Club Founded
The Ancients started in December 2022 with 11 passionate players united by their love for cricket.
Rapid Growth
Expanded participation with regular weekend league matches, growing the brotherhood across Mumbai.
League of Ancients
Successfully hosted the inaugural League of Ancients — our own internal auction-based tournament.
Active Members
The club now boasts around 150 registered players and continues to grow stronger each season.
How It Works
The Auction Process
A 3-phase auction with fixed budgets, spin-the-wheel player reveals and a Captain's Card twist — built exclusively for The Ancients.
STEP 01
Season Setup
Import players with roles, create a season and register 6 teams. Each team is auto-assigned a phase-wise budget of ₹10 Cr total. Review the player pool before game day.
STEP 02
Marquee Auction
Spin the wheel to reveal a player. Teams bid from a ₹2 Cr budget and each team secures 2 marquee picks. The Captain's Card mechanic can affect Phase 3 carry-forward.
STEP 03
Category Rounds
Phase 2: Batsmen, Pacers, Spinners & Wicket-Keepers at ₹1.5 Cr each. Phase 3: AllRounders with ₹6 Cr plus any Phase 1 carry-forward — every rupee counts.
STEP 04
Squads Finalised
All 14-player squads locked in. Carry-forward settled, standings published and the league table revealed. The brotherhood takes the field.
